Sales Representative – Wireline – Sidney, MT – 13

Summary: Under general to limited supervision, this position is responsible for generating sales and business development in Cased Hole Services and Wireline Solutions within the completion process of oil gas wells. This position will call on and meet in-person with existing and potential customers. Other responsibilities include coordinating with the operational personnel handling job orders and providing service to customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and sales goals are achieved. Perform a variety of other administrative activities relating to sales reporting and job auditing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: may include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Technical/consultative sales of Cased Hole completion and fishing and pipe recovery operations
• Ongoing development of new business opportunities by canvassing commercial account in industry segments such as: fishing tool companies, EP companies, consulting companies, etc.
• Work directly with Management to ensure that job orders are written efficiently through proper information gathered
• Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and deliver the best service possible
• Identify business opportunities and develop sales leads from current and potential inquiries to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
• Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale including cross-selling both products and services provided by the company
• Some discounting and price negotiations may be handled directly with the customer based on specific guidelines
• Follow up on customer inquiries by checking mail daily
• Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
• Responsible for running reports on sales activity, and forecasting per customer requirements and agreements
• Following up on Signing of Master Service Agreements
• Assist Subordinates and other Customer Service personnel

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years of sales/business development experience in oil gas completion and/or the drilling industry in general or the equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Some level of education beyond the 12th grade level is preferred.

Computer Skills: PC Literate in MS Office including word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications

Other Skills, Abilities or preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wireline solutions and cased-hole services, ideally to include pipe recovery procedures
• Understanding of the technical and economic drivers of down-hole process and issues
• Proven ability to interact with people, clear fluent expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to deal with customers tactfully and efficiently
• Must maintain a consistent and positive customer service image, frequently under difficult conditions
• Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, and coordinate workload • Ability to use basic selling techniques to “upsell” orders and sell related products is essential
