The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma will be accepting job applications for the higher education department. The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director implementing the Higher Education Assistance Program, Adult Vocational Training Program, Direct Employment Program and Adult Education Program, personnel, budget and overall evaluation of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Master’s Degree in education preferred. Bachelor degree in education or Business Administration or a related field from a four yr. accredited university or college. Must include administration, statistics, guidance and counseling. Two years in successful employment as an educator preferably on the secondary level or junior college level or professional exp. as a college scholarship officer. Must have knowledge of Federal, State and Institutional Based Financial Aid; such as the Pell, OTAG, SEOG, CWS, etc. Four yrs. Working w/Indian tribes federal Indian programs or Indian organizations. Knowledge of education, statistics, theory, concepts, etc. Work experience in the areas of employment assistance and/or vocational training administration or a related field. Must have successful experience as a proposal writer.

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma motor vehicle insurance. Must be willing to submit to and pass an OSBI background check and drug testing.
